Who are JAC Liner?

JAC Liner Inc. offers trips headed to Southern Tagalog, an area in northern Philippines south of the capital, Manila. Key destinations in this area where the bus company services include Laguna and Quezon where passengers can get off at Dalahican Port and take a ferry to the island of Marinduque and even farther south to the island of Romblon.

JAC Liner Inc. began operations in 1987 with only two second-hand buses. For close to three decades, it expanded its fleet by merging with smaller bus lines. Mainly sporting red and white livery, the fleet features a bird-in-flight logo or the prominent LLI signage for the Lucena Lines, Inc. subsidiary fleet.

JAC Liner only accepts walk-in passengers at this time as booking tickets ahead of your travel is currently not available. 

Buses leaving the terminal at full seating capacity usually make point-to-point trips so you may have to get to the terminal to ensure you have a seat.

  • To get to the Buendia Terminal, take the LRT-1 bound to Baclaran and get off at Gil Puyat Station. A short walk will take you to the Buendia terminal. Similarly, if you’re coming north from Quezon City, Manila, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Makati, you may take a Baclaran-bound bus/jeepney and get off at Gil Puyat.
  • To get to the Kamias Terminal in Quezon City, take the MRT-3 line northbound and get off at GMA-Kamuning Station. The bus terminal is a few minutes’ walk from there.
  • To get to PITX, take the LRT-1 line from Pasay or Monumento and get off at EDSA Station where orange jeepneys take you to PITX. For southbound passengers leaving Quezon City, take the MRT-2 line to Recto Station and walk the bridge connecting to LRT-1 Doroteo Jose Station. From here, the EDSA station is just a few stations away. Leaving Makati, the MRT-3 line will take you to the Taft Avenue station where a connecting bridge links you to the LRT-1 EDSA station. From EDSA Megamall or Taft Avenue, take a bus bound to Baclaran.

The table below will help you decide how much time and budget to allocate for your trips, keeping in mind that bus schedules and fares may change without prior notice. The traffic situation, as well as buses waiting for passengers at bus stops and bus terminals, may also make travel time longer than expected.

Students and senior citizens may avail of the 20% discount provided they show identification.

Depending on the COVID alert level in the city/town you are entering, you may need to show a vaccine certificate. Children below a certain age may not be permitted to travel, but as restrictions ease, young children below 12 may be allowed to board the bus provided they are accompanied by adults.

While face shields are used voluntarily at this time, the use of face masks is still required.

Yes. JAC Liner Inc. has an Express Padala service operating from 8AM to 5PM. Cargo or parcels may be picked up and delivered

Yes. JAC Liner Inc. offers shuttle services, bus rentals, or chartered trips using their 2015 model or newer units. Their well-ventilated and fully airconditioned vehicles are cleaned and sanitized prior to delivery and are assigned with a uniformed driver with personal protective equipment.

An emergency response team is on standby and a rescue bus is available as necessary
