Trans-Asia Shipping Lines: Connecting the Philippine Islands Since 1974

From humble beginnings in Cebu City to becoming one of the Philippines’ most trusted shipping companies, Trans-Asia Shipping Lines has been bridging island communities for nearly five decades. Founded in 1974, the company has grown from a single vessel operation to a modern fleet serving key ports across Visayas and Mindanao.

What sets Trans-Asia apart is their commitment to passenger comfort and safety through continuous fleet modernization. Their vessels are equipped with modern navigation systems and safety features that exceed maritime standards. As the first shipping line to introduce tourist-class accommodations in the Visayas-Mindanao route, Trans-Asia continues to raise the bar for sea travel comfort in the region.

Trans-Asia operates key routes connecting major ports across Visayas and Mindanao, with Cebu Port serving as the main hub. These vital connections support both passenger travel and cargo transport throughout the central Philippines.
